The TP-LINK SG6428X is a Layer 3 managed rack-mount switch built for business and enterprise networks. It provides 24 Gigabit RJ45 ports and four 10G SFP+ slots for fast uplinks or server connections. Two USB 2.0 ports and both RJ45 and USB-C console ports make administration and maintenance straightforward. Stacking support lets up to four units be linked together with 80 Gbps of stacking bandwidth.

The switch delivers 128 Gbps of switching capacity and a forwarding rate of 95.2 Mpps. It supports the Layer 3 routing protocols OSPF, RIP, VRRP and ECMP, along with advanced VLAN, QoS and security features such as 802.1X, ARP inspection and DoS protection.

Centralised management is handled through the Omada cloud controller, which supports Zero-Touch Provisioning. Designed for rack installation, the SG6428X suits business and enterprise environments.
