3. Subject of the contract and product information

The subject of the contract is the goods offered on ipon.eu. The main characteristics of the goods are shown on each product page, based on the manufacturer's information. Images are for illustration only; the manufacturer may change technical specifications without prior notice.

The Seller does not keep all goods in stock: some goods are ordered from the supplier after the order is received. Certain goods are sold to businesses only; this is indicated on the product page before ordering. The goods are intended for home or office use; industrial use is permitted only if expressly stated.

4. Ordering and conclusion of the contract

  1. The Customer puts the goods in the cart, chooses the delivery and payment method, checks the billing and delivery details and accepts the Terms and the Privacy Policy.
  1. The Customer can correct input errors at any time before clicking the order button. By clicking this button, the Customer makes a binding offer with an obligation to pay.
  1. After ordering, the Customer receives an automatic acknowledgement of receipt by e-mail. The contract is concluded when the Seller confirms the order by e-mail, within 48 hours at the latest. If the Customer does not receive a confirmation within this period, they are no longer bound by their order.
  1. Registration is not required. Changes after ordering are possible until shipping by e-mail to info@ipon.eu, stating the order number.
  1. The Customer is responsible for keeping the password of their customer account confidential.

Storage of the contract. The contract (order confirmation with these Terms) is sent to the Customer by e-mail on a durable medium. The Seller stores the contract electronically; the order details are also available in the customer account. The Terms are available on this page at any time and can be saved or printed.

5. Prices

All prices are in euros (EUR) and include VAT, plus delivery charges. The delivery charge is shown separately in the cart before the order is placed. The price displayed at the time of ordering applies. Promotional offers are valid for the period stated or, if no period is stated, while stocks last.

Purchase without VAT. Businesses registered in an EU Member State other than Hungary that provide a VAT number valid in the VIES system can buy without VAT (intra-Community supply, reverse charge). If the number is invalid, the order is shipped only after the VAT has been paid.

7. Delivery

  1. Goods are delivered by GLS courier to addresses in the countries that can be selected when entering ipon.eu. Personal collection is not possible.
  1. Delivery charges (incl. VAT): €15 for orders up to €150 and €5 for orders over €150.
  1. Bulky and heavy items cannot be delivered through ipon.eu.
  1. The delivery time is shown on the product page and in the order confirmation and is no more than 30 days from the order confirmation.
  1. Please check the parcel in the presence of the courier. If the packaging is damaged or goods are missing, ask the courier to confirm this in writing and do not use the damaged goods. Your statutory rights remain unaffected.
  1. If the Customer does not accept the parcel and does not withdraw from the contract, the Seller may attempt a new delivery against reimbursement of the delivery charge. If this also fails or the Customer does not cooperate, the Seller may terminate the contract and claim the delivery and return costs.
  1. Storage fee. For parcels returned to the Seller for reasons attributable to the Customer, and for replaced goods not collected under a guarantee claim, the Seller may charge a storage fee of €2 per day from the 3rd day after notification, up to a total of €84 (42 days).

Passing of risk and retention of title. For consumers, the risk of accidental loss of or damage to the goods passes when the goods are handed over to the Customer or a third party designated by them (other than the carrier). The goods remain the property of the Seller until paid in full.

8. Right of withdrawal

  1. Consumers have a statutory right of withdrawal of 14 days. The full information on the right of withdrawal and the model withdrawal form are available at Right of withdrawal. Businesses do not have a right of withdrawal.
  1. You can declare your withdrawal using the withdrawal function on the order page in your customer account, by e-mail to info@ipon.eu, by post or by any other unequivocal statement. We confirm receipt without delay by e-mail.
  1. The goods must be sent to the return address: iPon Computer Kft., Tüzér utca 13, 1134 Budapest, Hungary. The consumer bears the direct cost of returning the goods. Parcels sent cash on delivery or with postage due are not accepted.
  1. Among others, the right of withdrawal does not apply to goods made to the consumer's specifications or clearly personalised; sealed goods which are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons and were unsealed after delivery; sealed audio or video recordings or computer software which were unsealed after delivery; and digital content not supplied on a tangible medium if performance has begun with the consumer's express consent.

9. Legal guarantee and commercial warranty

  1. Legal guarantee of conformity. The Seller is liable for any lack of conformity of the goods under Directive (EU) 2019/771 and the national law applicable to the consumer. For new goods, the legal guarantee lasts at least two years from delivery, or longer if the mandatory law of the consumer's country of residence provides so. If a defect appears within one year of delivery (or within a longer period provided by national law), it is presumed to have existed at the time of delivery.
  1. The consumer may first choose between repair and replacement free of charge, within a reasonable time. We aim to complete it within 15 days of receiving the goods. If repair or replacement is impossible, fails or is not carried out within a reasonable time, the consumer may ask for a price reduction or terminate the contract.
  1. For businesses, the liability period for defects is 12 months from delivery.
  1. Manufacturer's warranty. Some manufacturers offer a warranty beyond the legal guarantee; its terms are set out in the manufacturer's warranty statement. It does not limit the consumer's statutory rights.
  1. Not a defect, in particular: damage caused by improper use, mechanical damage, liquid or overvoltage, opening or modifying the goods, unauthorised firmware updates, repairs by unauthorised persons, and loss or removal of the serial number label. Normal wear of batteries is not a defect.
  1. Dead pixels. For monitors and displays, ISO 13406-2 class II or the manufacturer's pixel policy applies, whichever is more favourable to the Customer.
  1. Data. Please back up your data before sending the goods for repair. We are liable for data loss during repair only in accordance with the law.
  1. Goods of certain brands (e.g. Ubiquiti, MikroTik, Xiaomi, Bookeen) are repaired at service centres abroad; the procedure usually takes about two months, without affecting the consumer's statutory rights. Mining hardware (ASIC) is sold to businesses only, with a warranty of 3 or 6 months as stated on the product page.

10. Warranty Courier

  1. For defective goods, the Seller sends a courier free of charge to the address specified by the Customer and returns the goods free of charge once the claim has been handled. The request is submitted in the customer account at https://ipon.eu/warranty with a fault description.
  1. If it turns out that the goods are not defective or the fault was caused by improper use, the Seller charges a flat transport fee of €10.
  1. The Customer may also send the goods themselves to the return address in Budapest. In this case, if the claim is justified, the Seller reimburses the shipping costs against proof, up to the cost of the Warranty Courier.
  1. The goods must be packed securely (double-walled box, filling material; envelopes are not accepted), complete, with accessories, a copy of the invoice and, if available, the warranty card. Goods sold as a set (KIT) can only be claimed together.

11. Complaints and dispute resolution

  1. You can send complaints by e-mail to info@ipon.eu or by post to the return address. Please state the order number, the product, the serial number, a description of the problem and your request. We acknowledge receipt without delay and reply in writing within 15 days at the latest.
  1. We are willing to take part in dispute resolution proceedings before the following consumer dispute resolution body: Budapest Conciliation Board (Budapesti Békéltető Testület), Krisztina krt. 99, 1st floor, room 111, 1016 Budapest, Hungary, https://bekeltet.bkik.hu. It has exclusive competence for cross-border consumer disputes arising from online sales with Hungarian traders.
  1. Consumers may also bring claims before the courts of their country of residence.

12. AI chat assistant (iPon AI)

  1. An AI chatbot developed by the iPon group is available on ipon.eu to help with questions about products, orders, delivery, payment and guarantee. Using it is voluntary; you can also contact our customer service directly at info@ipon.eu.
  1. The chatbot's answers are generated automatically, are for information only and may contain errors. Prices, availability, delivery times and contract terms are governed by the information in the shop, the order confirmation and these Terms. Chatbot answers are not an offer and do not change the contract or the consumer's statutory rights.
  1. Please do not enter card details, passwords, identity document data or health data in the chat. Chat histories are stored for no more than 30 days after the last message, unless they relate to an order, a complaint or a legal obligation. Details of the data processing, including the service providers used to generate the answers, are in the Privacy Policy.

13. Reviews

Registered users can rate products (0–5 stars) and publish reviews. Offensive, discriminatory, unlawful or misleading content, and content that infringes the rights of others, may be moderated or removed. In case of repeated violations, the Seller may temporarily or permanently block the user from publishing reviews.

14. Obvious pricing errors

An obvious pricing error exists, for example, if the price is €0, a discount was calculated incorrectly, or the price differs from the market price by one or more decimal places without being marked as a promotion. In this case, the Seller offers the Customer the purchase at the correct price; if the Customer declines, no contract is concluded.

15. Data protection

Personal data are processed in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR). Details are in the Privacy Policy: https://ipon.eu/data-security-informations.

16. Copyright and liability

The content of the website (texts, images, logos, databases) belongs to the Seller or its partners and may not be used without their consent. The Seller is not liable for internet disruptions that temporarily prevent the use of the website, or for fraud by third parties. Liability for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, and under product liability law remains unaffected.

Force majeure. Neither party is liable for failure or delay in performing its obligations caused by force majeure (an external, extraordinary and unforeseeable event that could not be prevented, avoided or remedied, e.g. natural disasters, war, epidemics, official measures). The affected party informs the other party without delay. If force majeure lasts longer than 30 days, either party may terminate the contract; amounts already paid for goods not delivered are refunded to the Customer.

17. Applicable law and final provisions

  1. Hungarian law applies. Consumers retain the protection afforded to them by the mandatory provisions of the law of the country in which they have their habitual residence (Article 6 of Regulation (EC) No 593/2008).
  1. If any provision is invalid, the remaining provisions remain valid. The Seller may amend the Terms; amendments do not apply to orders received before their publication.
