SAMYANG V-AF anamorphic lens adapter

The Samyang V-AF anamorphic lens adapter turns your footage into widescreen images with distinctive horizontal flares and a pronounced bokeh. It is designed for filmmakers who want to bring the look of the big screen into their productions and is made specifically as an accessory for the V-AF lens range.

With a T1.9 aperture, the adapter is among the fastest anamorphic solutions available, according to the manufacturer. The 1.7x squeeze ratio, together with the yellow-amber anamorphic tint and barrel distortion, gives images a clearly anamorphic character. Electronic contacts allow the lens focus ring to be used as an iris ring, while a tally light on the front shows recording status. The soft focus function adds a creamy, glowing softness reminiscent of vintage cinema lenses, which is especially effective for portrait work.

The adapter is compatible with the Samyang V-AF 24mm, 35mm, 45mm, 75mm and 100mm T-stop lenses with Sony FE mount. The 24mm covers APS-C/Super 35, while the 35mm, 45mm, 75mm and 100mm cover full frame. Some vignetting may appear with the 35mm, and with the 45mm when shooting close range.
