This Philips 3000 Series NanoProtect HEPA filter, part number FY3437/00, is a replacement filter designed for the AC3737 air purifier and humidifier combination. It captures 99.97% of particles down to 0.3 microns, including the dust mites, pollen and pet hair that commonly trigger allergies. The black filter is built to be easy to fit and swap, with the HEPA and activated carbon layers combined into one unit.
The activated carbon stage absorbs odours and PM2.5 particles, and its large surface area helps capture formaldehyde and its breakdown products. The filter also incorporates a two-component amine-manganese compound designed to rapidly trap and break down formaldehyde. Nanokill oxygen-based disinfection technology is cited by the manufacturer as targeting bacteria and viruses.
The filter measures about 234.6 x 248 x 300.5 mm and weighs approximately 1.47 kg.
