The Intel Core i5-12400F is a 12th generation Alder Lake processor for the LGA-1700 socket. It combines six performance cores and twelve threads, running at a base clock of 2.5 GHz and boosting up to 4.4 GHz. With 18 MB of L3 cache and 7.5 MB of L2 cache, it handles office work, multitasking and gaming when paired with a discrete graphics card.

The processor has a 65-watt base TDP and a maximum power draw of 117 watts. It supports Intel SSE4.1, SSE4.2 and AVX2 instruction sets, and memory of up to 128 GB in DDR4-3200 or DDR5-4800 configurations.
