HOYA R1 Pro Red filter 52mm

The HOYA R1 Pro Red is a 52 mm filter designed to increase contrast in your images. It is particularly suited to black-and-white photography, where it enhances dramatic cloud formations in landscape shots. It can also be used creatively in colour and infrared photography.

The HMC coating on the filter surfaces reduces reflections, helping to minimise glare and ghosting. With an average light transmission of over 97 percent, the filter delivers sharp contrast and balanced colours. HOYA HMC filters are recommended for enhancing the performance of today's multi-coated lenses.

The filter is also well suited to correcting skin tones, bringing out facial expressions in close-up portraits and emphasising the sense of vibrancy in a scene. It weighs 40 g.
