Product description

The Delock USB 2.0 serial RS-232 adapter connects a USB Type-A port to a 9-pin Sub-D RS-232 serial interface, allowing legacy serial devices to be used with modern computers. It is designed for applications such as POS systems, printers, modems and IoT devices that still rely on a serial connection.

The female DB9 connector is secured with screws for a firm connection. The FTDI FT232R chipset supports data transfer rates of up to 921.6 Kbps, with selectable parity, stop bits, data bits and flow control. The compact connector housing measures 39.0 x 33.0 x 14.7 mm, and the cable is approximately 1.8 m long, giving flexibility when positioning the device.

The adapter is compatible with Windows 10 and 11, macOS 12.4 or later, and Linux kernel 5.15 or later. The package includes the adapter and a user manual.
