The D-Link DMS-1250-28P/E is a desktop Layer 2 managed switch with 24 RJ-45 ports supporting 100/1000/2500 Mbps, plus four SFP/SFP+ ports for uplinks. It is designed for office and business networks that need a high-bandwidth, reliable connection.
The switch supplies power to network devices over Ethernet with IEEE 802.3af/at PoE and PoE++ support, delivering up to 475 W in total and up to 90 W per port. This allows IP cameras, VoIP phones and access points to run without separate power adapters. The unit comes with 512 MB of RAM.
Measuring 440 × 44 × 250 mm and weighing about 4.2 kg, it can be mounted in a server or network cabinet or placed on a desk. Maximum power consumption including connected PoE devices is 592.19 W.
