The T-ring can be used for astrophotography - it connects the camera to the telescope. One part of the T-ring is mounted on the camera, and the other part is attached to the focus adjuster of the telescope (if it has a T-thread) or to a special T-adapter. By using the appropriate T-adapter, you can connect the camera to any telescope with a 1.25" or 2" focuser.
