The BRESSER National Geographic AZ combines a telescope and a microscope for exploring objects at very different scales. The telescope has a 50 mm objective lens, a focal length of 360 mm and a maximum magnification of 60 x. Its alt-azimuth mount makes it straightforward to point at celestial or terrestrial objects.

The microscope offers magnifications from 40x–640x for examining cells, plant parts and small organisms. Built-in illumination helps provide a clear, high-contrast view during observations. Together, the two instruments let users explore the Moon and planets through the telescope and inspect small specimens under the microscope.
