Ares 660 LRF 2.0 thermal imaging riflescope

The Ares 660 LRF 2.0 is a thermal imaging riflescope designed for spotting and aiming in darkness. Its sensor, rated at a NETD of 18 mK or less, picks up even small temperature differences, showing outlines clearly from the contours of animals to key joints. An AI-assisted calibration and a self-learning algorithm help keep image quality stable as ambient conditions change, and according to the manufacturer the image improves the more the device is used.

An integrated laser rangefinder with a range of up to 1000 m measures the distance to the target, with a stated accuracy of about ±1 m at 100 m. Models in the 60 series have two-position optics with optical magnification that can be adjusted with one hand. The riflescope is about 10% lighter than its predecessor and starts up in under three seconds, making it practical for extended use in the field.
